Driving mountain roads is one of my favorite places to drive. My go to place for driving in the mountains are the roads up in the Great Smoky Mountains - Moonshiner 28, Wayah Road, Tail of the Dragon, The Cherohala Skyway and the Hellbender are the main hot spots that drivers love to experience when visiting The Smoky Mountains. I love also driving the less known roads and hidden gems. The Great Smoky Mountains is a mountain range rising along the Tennessee–North Carolina border. The Smokies are a subrange of the Appalachian Mountains, and form part of the Blue Ridge Physiographic Province. Established as a national park in 1934, this is the most visited national park in the United States, with over 11 million visits per year.
