After assessing the rust damage, it was clear the only proper solution was a full replacement. In this video, I take you step-by-step through the removal process: ✔️ Cutting out the main floor pan section — leaving a safety margin to the original weld spots ✔️ Carefully drilling out the factory spot welds ✔️ Removing the sections underneath the tunnel element ✔️ Cutting out the panels along the side fender area The goal is to preserve as much original structure as possible while preparing everything cleanly for the new floor pan installation. This is real-world classic car restoration — no shortcuts, just careful cutting, drilling, and patience.
