This instructional video explains the installing of the soft seats of the BKC TK122 and BKC TK219 kayaks from Brooklyn Kayak Company The soft kayak seats are 4 point harness seats. They have four attachment points to the kayak. To install the soft padded kayak seat, position the seat bottom where the kayak seat goes on the kayak. There are four hooks. Grab the side hooks and hook them to the front. This adjustment supports the seat back to support your back. Then, take the other two hooks which buckle to the back. This is to secure the kayak seat to prevent slide – so you don’t slide back and forth. These are adjustable in two different ways: the bottom portion, which you want to be tight up against the back wall, then you have the top portion which adjusts how far you want to lean back for all-day comfort when kayaking or fishing.
