Our new event, Threads Through the Tapestry on February 20th at 1pm ET. Our first session will be exploring Landscape and Ecologies with Rose Monacella and Kari Roynesdal with a moderated discussion led by Elaine Zmuda (details in the post + message for calendar invite/zoom link). Threads Through the Tapestry traces different stories (or threads) through the archival tapestry created by FSP. In each session, speakers will examine a thread in the FSP Tapestry, or a series of related entries. After ‘pulling at a thread,’ guests are invited to contribute a new entry to the archive that continues their thread, with the goal of revealing patterns, unseen connections and surprising loops in our living archive. Threads Through the Tapestry seeks to provide a space for open dialogue around shared histories as we examine the many ways spatial practice is understood and enacted. FSP does not claim a singular cannon; rather, we celebrate as many histories as there are threads in the tapestry.
