The FMS F4U 4 Corsair is a 1.4m wingspan warbird with a brushless 4250 KV540 motor, 14x8 four-blade prop, rotating retracts, split flaps, and an 80A ESC. Powered with a 4S 5000mAh LiPo. Flight Review: We had a proper moment at the field with three scale warbirds lined up on the tarmac. Warwick was flying the Zero, Scott was flying the P-51-B Mustang, and I was on the camera plane with the F4U-4 Corsair. Seeing all three ready to go felt like something I had been waiting for a long time. All three aircraft took off to the south and we settled into circuits. It was a lot to track with that extra aircraft in the pattern, but I loved every minute of it. This is exactly the sort of flying I have always wanted to do with mates at the club and it finally came together. There were close moments through the flight where I slid in behind the two lead aircraft. I added some audio effects in the video to give you that sense of immersion and the feeling of tracking a target. It also shows just how tight the flying was and how well the three aircraft held similar patterns. My landing in the Corsair came up a little early and I touched down on the grass. Luckily I still had throttle on, so I eased it back into the air and brought it around to settle properly on the tarmac. I also captured the Zero landing from the ground view which finishes the flight nicely.
