Traveling to a quite popular hike in Claremont Hills Wilderness Park, the 5 Mile Loop. Situated at the base of San Gabriel Mountains this park is an excellent option to enjoy nature and exercise too. The parking lot gets full very easy I recommend you to get there early which is also better since it can be really hot. The cost for parking is $7.00 that you can pay at the automatic machines in there. I was able to talked with few of the volunteers, Friends of the Wilderness Park. They help not only keeping the park clean but also they have an important job of tracking the species that live in the park and they provide direction to the visitors as well.
