In episode 9 of our Morocco vlog road trip we travel from Merzouga to Todra Valley. Explore dates, fossils, sheep & Khettara in Erfoud & then journey to Tinghir Oasis in the Todra Valley. Todra Gorge is the highlight of the day, with a walk through the towering cliffs, alongside the bubbling Todra River. After leaving Merzouga, we stop in Erfoud, where a sheep market is in full swing. We taste Erfoud's famous dates, visit a fossil factory, and then venture down inside the tunnel of a Khettara as our Morocco travel guide explains the workings of this ingenious ancient underground irrigation system. Our adventure continues to the lush oasis town of Tinghir in the Todra Valley, a green jewel in the barren desert. The walk through the awe-inspiring Todra Gorge, with its 300-meter-high cliffs and picturesque river, is breathtaking. But don't stay at the hotel by the river — you’ll have to watch the video to find out why! If you love immersive travel experiences and stunning landscapes then this video is perfect for you.
