Mūsā (AS): Standing Against Tyranny | Prophets of Allah

In this episode of the Prophets of Allah series at ADAMS Center, we reflect on the remarkable life of Prophet Mūsā (ʿalayhi as-salām) — one of the greatest prophets mentioned in the Qur’an. Mūsā (AS) was chosen by Allah to confront one of the most powerful tyrants in history: Pharaoh. Despite the immense power of Pharaoh and the oppression of the Children of Israel, Mūsā was commanded to speak the truth and call people to the worship of Allah. From the moment Allah spoke to him at Mount Ṭūr, to the miracles granted to him, to the parting of the sea — the story of Mūsā (AS) is filled with lessons of courage, faith, leadership, and reliance upon Allah. His life reminds us that standing for truth often requires patience, trust in Allah, and unwavering commitment to justice.
