Forgotten New York: Central and North Bronx

Join Kevin Walsh of Forgotten New York, a website launched in 1999 whose purpose is to highlight neighborhoods, objects, and aspects of New York City that have gone ignored or unnoticed by the guidebooks and tour guides, for a free virtual book talk. For its 25th anniversary, Kevin has been presenting in the Metropolitan area with stops in Woodhaven, Bayside, Park Slope, Flushing and now, for The Bronx County Historical Society. For this presentation, Kevin will be examining central and north Bronx scenes from Norwood, Fordham, Belmont, Kingsbridge Heights, and Riverdale as well as items from the early days of FNY in 1999 and 2000.
