Let’s take a clamp meter and set the meter to measure resistance. We will now measure resistance at 6 different points. The resistance value, if it is same across all the points, then the winding is ok. Touch the lid on point one and three and note the reading. Then check point two and three, here also we are getting resistance same as earlier. Then put the lid on point one and two, here also we are getting same result. Now check 2nd winding. Touch the lid on point seven and nine, here also we are getting same resistance. Then check point eight and nine, we are getting same result. Then check point seven and eight, and the result is same. Now check the resistance with compressor body. As you can see, we are getting no resistance show on all the points, so winding of this compressor is ok.
