Everyone Keeps Running While we all keep running from ourselves and each other, you sit in the center listening for the still point from which the storm comes and in which the storm will end. As I watch you, I realize this is how I need to outlast the storm that rises in me. Or us. Or in the molecule of storm that we call trouble. When you come to the table, I bring you tea, the way you like, and, as the clouds part in the yard, it occurs to me that all I’ve condemned in the storm that is me is not pathology or deficiency.
