This video tells a beautiful real love story. ❤️ In March 2022, my daughter Katarina and her partner Stefan traveled across Iceland 🇮🇸 for 14 unforgettable days. They rented a camper van and explored some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world...waterfalls, glaciers, black sand beaches, volcanoes and endless roads through nature. But the most magical moment happened under the sky of Iceland. While the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) danced above them, Stefan asked Katarina the most important question of their lives… and she said YES. One year later they got married. And just a month ago they welcomed their beautiful baby girl into the world. This video is a small memory of their Iceland adventure. The places in this video are not presented in chronological order. 1.(Búðakirkja ) Búðir is a popular destination.The little black church, Búðakirkja, is located at Búðir. People come from all around the world to seal their love at the church. 2.Reykjavík is the capital and largest city of Iceland and has a latitude of 64°08′ N, making it the world's northernmost capital of a sovereign state. 3.Reynisfjara is one of the most famous black sand beaches in Iceland. 4.Víkurkirkja (the Church of Vík í Mýrdal) is the most recognizable landmark of the village of Vík on the southern coast of Iceland. 5.Svörtuloft Lighthouse (named Skálasnagaviti when viewed from the sea) is Iceland's answer to one of the most dangerous coastlines in the North Atlantic. The name means "Black Ceiling" in Icelandic; fitting when you see how it sits on dark volcanic cliffs that stretch for 4 kilometers. 6.Fellsfjara is located next to Jökulsárlón (Glacier lagoon). Fellsfjara is a popular destination among travelers due to the fact that glacier ice from the lagoon often end up on the black beach creating a stunning scene. This has given the beach the name "diamond beach" among travelers. 7.Silfra Fissure. Silfra is a fissure between two continental, tectonic plates with over 100m visibility underwater. Silfra is Iceland´s most famous dive and snorkel site. 8.Kirkjufell is one of the most famous and most photographed mountains in Iceland. Kirkjufell also became internationally famous after appearing in the TV series Game of Thrones, where it was known as the “Arrowhead Mountain.” 9.Húsavík Whale Watching tour. In 1973 a DC-3 US Navy plane ran out of fuel and landed on the beach of Sólheimasandur. 12.Drangshlíð. Drangurinn í Drangshlid stone turf cowshed twin buildings by Eyjafjoll mountains, Iceland. 13.Gatklettur (Hellnar Arch) is a natural basalt stone arch located between Arnarstapi and Hellnar on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula in western Iceland. 14.Gljufrabui Waterfall is one of the country’s most secluded natural sights. 15.Icelandic horses. The Icelandic horse is a breed of horse developed in Iceland. The breed is long-lived and hardy, owing to the ruggedness of its home country. 16.Sky lagoon is a geothermal spa in southwestern Iceland. 17.Viking Village 18.Ice-Caves in Vatnajökull. It is considered to be one of the best places in Europe for whale watching in the summer. 20.Krafla Viti Crater. 21.Námaskard Pass is a geothermal area on the slopes of Namafjall Mountain in North Iceland. 22.Goðafoss is one of the most famous waterfalls in northern Iceland, located along the Skjálfandafljót River. 23.Friðheimar is a farm operated by an Icelandic family who is breeding Icelandic horses and growing vegetables all year round with help from nature. 24.Hvítserkur is a rock in the sea at the northern tip of the Vatnsnes peninsula in the Norðurland Vestra region. 25.Svínafellsjökull is a striking outlet glacier of the vast Vatnajökull in southeastern Iceland.
