The DTM enthusiasts at Valencia witnessed an eventful race weekend and due to the result, the battle for the title in the season finale at Hockenheim arguably will turn out to be a true thriller. At the wheel of his BMW M3 DTM, Augusto Farfus celebrated his maiden DTM win, with the Audi drivers Adrien Tambay and Mattias Ekström finishing second and third respectively. Jamie Green, who currently holds third position in the championship, was the only Mercedes-Benz driver who made it to the points, thus keeping his title chances alive. Meanwhile, Gary Paffett (Mercedes-Benz) had to leave Valencia empty-handed -- but remained the championship leader, nevertheless. Nonetheless, Bruno Spengler (BMW) kept in closing the gap by finishing sixth, thus reducing Paffett's lead to just three points. DTM.com compiled the Oschersleben tops and flops.
