The male urethra is a long canal about 18 - 20cm long, which conveys urine and seminal fluid to the outside of the body. Its prostatic part is 3cm long and it’s the widest and most distensible part. Its membranous part is 1.5 - 2cm long, with the exception of the external orifice, the narrowest section of the urethra, it is also the least dilatable part of male urethra.
