Here are some tips for families looking to visit. The trail to get into the gorge is stroller friendly - the waterfront and grotto are not so you have to leave your stroller at the entrance. The trail along the coast is a moderate hike so better for kids 8+ Despite its beautiful appearance, the water is COLD. Very cold and it doesn’t really warm up even when the weather is warm in the Summer. Reservations are needed to park. Camping sites(and yurts) are available(reservation). Bathrooms with change tables and water refill area at the entrance. More washrooms at the gorge and grotto. If you are making the trip there are other parks close by like Fathom Five, Lionhead, Singing Sands, and Flowerpot Island you can also plan to explore.
