Learn how to make the ultimate Traditional Tripoli Chraime! This authentic recipe features fresh fish in a rich, bold, and spicy red sauce, cooked in a Magnus saute pan for perfect results. It’s the perfect dish for Shabbat dinner or any festive meal. Ingredients: 6 Fish fillets (Barramundi or any white fish) 1/2 cup Oil (Olive oil optional) 2 tbsp Sweet Paprika 2 tbsp Hot Paprika 3 tbsp Tomato Paste 1 head of Garlic (crushed) 1 tsp Salt (to taste) 1/2 Lemon (squeezed) 1 tsp Cumin 1 tsp Ground Caraway (Karawia) 1 tsp Sugar (optional) 1 cup Water Preparation Steps: 1️⃣ Start the Base: In a wide Magnus stainless steel saute pan, add 1/2 cup of oil and heat over medium heat. Add the paprikas and stir for about a minute (don't burn them!). 2️⃣ Add Aromatics: Add the crushed garlic and lemon juice, and stir for another 2-3 minutes. Add the tomato paste and mix well to open up the flavors in the pan. 3️⃣ Build the Sauce: Add 1/2 cup of water and stir. Season with cumin, salt, caraway, and sugar. Add a little more water and cook the sauce for 10-15 minutes until it reduces and thickens. Taste to ensure it's perfect! 4️⃣ Cook the Fish: Add the fish fillets and "baste" them with the sauce. Shake the pan gently and close the lid. Cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes—be careful not to overcook the fish!
