JOIN THE DISCORD:   / discord   Mixing feels like a pretty daunting task at first, but hopefully this full breakdown of my entire mix can help illustrate that it can be really easy if you start with the right elements. I broke down every instrument, layer, effect, plugin, and automation on my lofi track "Looking Back" which I dropped last year. The biggest takeaway I think this breakdown has to offer is that the mixing your lofi beats doesn't need to be a crazy uphill battle - you just need to be intentional with your layers and make sure you aren't overcrowding frequencies. A good mix starts with a good composition, from there the mixing can be pretty easy!
