Prince William's heartwarming tribute to his mother Diana

Prince William has today become the Royal Patron of The Passage Charity - not only the UK's largest resource centre for the homeless, but a cause very close to the Duke's heart. After visiting the charity with mother, Princess Diana in 1993, Kensington Palace has today released two sweet throwback snaps of the royals' visit. William first visited with Diana at 10 years old, but has made several additional visits over the past 25 years. In 2016, the Duke even gave a speech explaining just how important the charity is to him. "The visits I made as a child to this place left a deep and lasting impression upon me – about how important it is to ensure that everyone in our society, especially the poorest, are treated with respect, dignity and kindness, and are given the opportunities to fulfil their potential in life," he said. And after Kensington Palace announced the patronage this morning, they also shared some adorable throwback images - one of Diana, William and Harry visiting the charity and the other, a poignant snap of the visitor's book, signed by Diana and William in December 1993...
