A new trial will study cancer 'supersurvivors', people who have survived after being diagnosed with advanced cancer to find out why they have lived longer than expected. Cure51, a French techbio company launched the first global study of people still alive three to five years after being diagnosed with hard-to-treat forms of brain, lung or pancreatic cancer. Researchers intend to gather tumour samples from over 1,000 exceptional responder patients in collaboration with eight NHS cancer centres.
