What sets Biophilia Records apart from other traditional music labels is that in addition to creating meaningful and imaginative music, our artists are united by a common interest in having a positive impact on the environment and our communities. Our artists collaborate with organizations that specialize in conservation/sustainability/outreach and regularly participate, hands-on as volunteers. We have had the pleasure of collaborating with organizations such as the BioBus, RiverKeeper and MillionTreesNYC among others. In addition to our volunteer work, we want our products to be made as sustainably as possible without sacrificing quality or artistic integrity. For that reason, we have developed the Biopholio, a 100% post consumer recycled paper-art equivalent that has the same external dimensions as the traditional CD jewel case. Every Biopholio contains a unique code inside for the owner to type in online and download a digital copy of the music.
