This video documents our Integrated Surface Water and Swiftwater Rescue Training Program, combining pool-based foundational skills with outdoor moving water operations. Phase 1 – Surface Water Rescue (Pool-Based) Participants develop core competencies including water survival, defensive swimming, reach and throw techniques, and controlled victim contact in a supervised environment. Phase 2 – Swiftwater Rescue (Outdoor-Based) Training progresses to dynamic river conditions where responders apply rope systems, live bait techniques, current navigation, and structured team coordination under operational safety protocols. This progressive training approach ensures responders are equipped with both foundational skills and real-world operational readiness for flood and moving water incidents. Training highlights include: • Self-rescue techniques • Throw bag deployment • Rope-based rescue systems • Incident command integration • Scenario-based evaluation Preparedness is built through discipline, repetition, and safety compliance.
