The Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) of Montefiore Medical Center offers the full spectrum of advanced services for pediatric patients and is a recognized leader in the areas of cardiology, nephrology, oncology, orthopaedics, neurology and surgery, among others. In 2011-2012, CHAM was one of only two hospitals in the tri-state area to be nationally ranked in all 10 specialties by U.S. News & World Report's Best Children's Hospitals. CHAM's pediatric oncology program specializes in all forms of hematologic malignancies, such as leukemia and lymphoma, sarcomas and neuroblastomas, and treats more than 150 new cases each year.
