It's so over the top, so brave to cringe its way that far, and it won many girls hearts including me. Its portrait of fantasy escapism fulfilled my childhood fantasy about girlhood - to dress in badass outfit with friends, master cool weapons, and go ruthlessly physical together in our own world. It's so rare to see the girl's fantasy being done right and on top of that still show how cruel the world is towards women without any filter. This movie got misinterpreted to be just a "boy's fantasy" for too long when the movie actual message was to critique that issue specifically. Sucker Punch deserves a big official resurgence in theater, IMAX even. The cinema today needs something this camp and original again. This mix features Pastel Ghost because when I first heard her music, I immediately thought this should be in Sucker Punch movie. Even though the music genre are completely different but I have been having a vivid vision about this mix for so long. This mix is extremely personal and one of very few crafts that I created only for myself. This is so special to me to the point no one will ever understand. The creation of this mix got me to revisit how art really meant to my soul again. Note: This is an experimental mix for me, meaning it's like I blindingly mixing it because I listen to these songs daily, I'm too familiar with every rhythm to the point that however I mix it, it will sound out of place to me. So I myself can't tell if this mix is good or not, but this mix satisfied me, as the art I created for myself, I'm happy with it and that's enough for me.
