The Red Hot Chili Peppers 1984 Full Album Bass Cover

And the title says everything. I tryied to do the things like Flea did in 1984. In this album Flea used a Music Man Stingray pré ernie ball with maple fingerboard and couple of Fender Precision Basses (black with rosewood fingerboard early 80's and a sunburst with maple fingerboard 70's at Grand Pappy Du Plenty). I do not have EXACTLY the same basses, but I tryed to sound like them! Gear used: Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray year 1994 with Flea Bridge. I used this bass in True Men Don't Kill Coyotes, Buckle Down, Get Up And Jump, Out in L.A. and You Always Sing the Same. To sound 'like' a pré-EB MM I tryed this configuration: Bass 60%, Mid 0% and Treble 40% (Hope you liked it!). The strings are brand new Elixir Stainless Steel 45-105. NT PB Custom White with Rosewood. This is the debut of this bass! I really loved it! Used in Babby Appeal (tone 70%), Why Don't You Love Me (tone 100%), Green Heaven (tone 90%), Mommy Where's Daddy (tone 40%) and Police Helicopter (tone 90%). This bass have a Cedro wood body, maple neck, Bahia's Jacarandá fingerboard, Fender 63 pure vibe pickup and brand new GHS Precision FLATWOUNDS 45-105 strings. Really punchy and fat tone! NT PB Custom Tobacco burst with maple. This is my first NT Guitars PB, made in 2014. Very bright and loud, I used only in Grand Pappy Du Plenty (tone 80%). This PB have Ash body, Maple birdeyes neck and fingerboard and an amazing Lindy Fralin 5% pickup. Strings are brand new Ernie Ball 2833 45-105. And for the geeks: 1) I REALLY celebrate at the end of Get Up And Jump. This is VERY HARD to play, especially the slap part... and I think I nailed it most of the time... and do it IN ONE TAKE ONLY is HUGE for me, so, I had to celebrate a lot at the end as you can see kkkkkkk 2) In Mommy Where's Daddy, I did not nailed the original bassline. This is the sexyiest and funkyiest song of the album, and I HAD to add some improvisations... sorry for that, but I can assegure you I can play the original bassline. Neste álbum Flea usou um Music Man Stingray Pré-Ernie Ball com escala em maple, e também 2 Fender Precision (um preto com escala rosewood do início dos anos 80 e um sunburst com escala em maple do fim dos anos 70, apenas em Grand Pappy Du Plenty). Eu não tenho EXATAMENTE os mesmos baixos, mas eu tentei fazer o som o mais próximo possível! Equipamento utilizado: Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray ano 1994 com Flea Bridge. Este baixo tem o corpo em Cedro, braço em maple, Jacarandá da Bahia na escala, captadorFender 63 pure vibe e novíssimas cordas GHS Precision FLATWOUNDS 45-105. Um som bem gordo e forte! NT PB Custom Tobacco burst com escala em maple birdseye. Este é meu primeiro NT Guitars PB, feito em 2014. Som muito brilhante e alto, eu usei apenas em “Grand Pappy Du Plenty” (tone 80%). Este PB te corpo em Ash, Maple birdeyes no braço e na escala e um incrível captador Lindy Fralin 5%. Cordas são novíssimas Ernie Ball 2833 45-105. E para os nerds de plantão: 1) Eu REALMENTE, DE VERDADE, comemorei no final de “Get Up And Jump”. Esta é uma música MUITO DIFÍCIL de tocar, especialmente a parte de slap... e eu acho que eu fiz tudo certinho na maior parte do tempo... e fazer isto EM APENAS UM TAKE DE GRAVAÇÃO é ALGO INCRÍVEL PRA MIM, então, eu tive que comemorar muito no final, como vocês podem ver kkkkkkk 2) Em “Mommy Where's Daddy”, eu não toquei exatamente a mesma linha de baixo original. Esta é a mais sexy e gostosa música do álbum, e eu TIVE que fazer algumas firulas e improvisações... peço desculpas por isso, mas eu posso garantir que consigo tocar a linha original também!
