This unrivalled selection of classic modernist images from the 1920's to the 1950's features almost 200 works from more than 60 artists, including seminal figures such as Man Ray, Andre Kertesz, Irving Penn among many others. This stellar exhibition draws on the strength and breadth of one of the most significant private photography collections the world to introduce a large selection of visionary works rarely seen in the United Kingdom. Sir Elton John began collecting photography in 1991 and has built a collection of over 8000 prints from the early twentieth century to the present.
