As a former Bethel student and a current pastor in a charismatic church, I felt compelled to speak to this moment. With recent sexual abuse allegations involving Ben Armstrong, and broader conversations surrounding Bethel Church, Shawn Bolz, and leadership accountability in the charismatic movement, many believers are asking hard questions about church culture and how abuse is handled inside Christian spaces. This video is not a breakdown of specific claims. It is a direct, pastoral response to sexual abuse in the church — and a call to protect survivors, confront sin, and refuse cover-up culture wherever it exists. This message speaks to: – Survivors of sexual abuse – Pastors and church leaders – Anyone in ministry hiding sin The cross offers redemption to all. But community has boundaries. Accountability is biblical. Protection is biblical. And silence protects predators. If the Church cannot be the safest place for the wounded, then we are failing in our witness.
