artZONE S1E1 CHIKAHANAY with Arts Practitioners and Directors

artZONE is the arts and culture program of ZONE – the online educational channel of La Salle University. ZONE will birth its 1st Season with the theme, “Magic of Pandemic” and will be launching artZONE as one of its major programs. artZONE is a series featuring online artistic and cultural talks, lectures, documentaries, training, workshops, and productions shared by student-artists, alumni-artists, faculty-artists, and practicing artists of various art forms of the university and its partner agencies. For this season, artZONE will release pre-recorded videos as five (5) episodes – two (2) virtual talk shows, and three (3) hybrid multi-art forms productions. Chikahanay, being the virtual talk show component of artZONE, will feature five (5) local arts practitioners and/or artistic directors, and five (5) student-artists discussing and/or sharing their thoughts about the status of their artistic engagements in these times of pandemic. LAMAS, literally translated as spices, is the hybrid multi-art forms production component of artZONE. It will feature fifteen (15) masterpieces (songs, solo pieces, monologues, poetry pieces, storytelling pieces, dance pieces, films etc.) of local artists or arts groups representing various art forms.
