Like no wind breeze is flowing and pines are not making any sound. b) River is personified by the writer as a person who is asleep, as he might want to show that river doesn't have a heavy flow that makes too much noise. Ans 2 a) Every creature abiotic and biotic is not making any sound loud enough to disturb anyone this how the night enfolds peace as every biotic creature is asleep and abiotic are relaxed. b) the brook break the silence of the night by flowing with some sound that feels like it murmuring like person. Ans 3 a)Brilliant signifies the beauty and calmness given by the light of the moon to the human and everything else in nature. b) By imitating its silver light on everything else moon turns everything to silver. Ans 4 As before the poet explains what happens to the abiotic things at night and how the night enfolds silence and second time it tells about the biotic things. Also poet is using a refrain to create a rhythm in the poem. Ans 5 Imagery of a river flowing near a grassland under the light of moon is used by the poet to bring out the beauty of night.
