In 2013 a group of six hunters left their homes in northwest Ohio and headed to the island of Newfoundland, Canada to purse moose for the first time. It wasn't just a hunt, it was an adventure. Though most of us had hunted through an outfitter before, it would be our first time hunting big game with a guide. The trip planning began in 2010, we booked out hunt with an outfitter another local hunter had used, Roberts' Outfitting, out of Deer Lake, Newfoundland. Getting there was an adventure on it's own, coupled with the hunt, we made memories that will last a lifetime.
