We kick off around St Helens, with time at Swimcart Beach, a bright dip at Little Blue Lake, and a delicious stop at Pyengana Dairy. Then it’s on to Launceston for eats at Old Mac’s, the dreamy Lilydale Falls, an abandoned railway tunnel, and the purple postcard views at Bridestowe Lavender Farm — before stretching our legs at Cataract Gorge. From there we roll through Campbelltown and visit Brickendon Estate (UNESCO-listed), then continue to Port Sorell and Latrobe, finishing the Tassie chapter around Coles Beach, Mersey Bluff Lighthouse, and Devonport. If you love scenic drives, easy walks, swimming spots, and those “worth the detour” places — this one’s for you.
