Making Samples on a Rigid Heddle Loom | How I Test Yarns Before Weaving a Project

In this video, I explain how I make samples and how I test different yarns before weaving a project. In weaving, sampling can be done in order to understand how a given yarn will react after being woven and wet finished. Sampling also allows to try different color combinations. This can often prevent disappointment! In my sampling method, I warp and I weave all the yarns that I want to try out on the same project. This method allows me to try many fibers at the same time without using too much yardage.
