Safeguarding is integral to operations here at BSME and so it's wonderful to sit with Emily and hear about the ever-growing integration of comprehensive safeguarding practices in the region - and beyond! The pair cover the British International Schools Safeguarding Coalition and look at the collaborative work they are doing to ensure there is a global shift in attitudes towards safeguarding. With the organisations representing BISSC covering 1000 schools and over half a million students, their work has never been more important. Emily shares the long-term plans of BISSC but also covers the more immediate, actionable steps schools can take now to elevate their safeguarding practices. We're reminded that sitting in silos to manage safeguarding is ineffective and counterproductive.
