I've learned so much about what to be aware of when buying a red light therapy device since then. So let's consider what's important when buying a device: ✅ Criterion 1: Size. Depending on your viewpoint and philosophy, you could say that "budget" could be the most important thing, but I'm opting for size anyway. However, size is the most important choice you make as this dictates price in many cases. You can get panels with up to 1,000 LEDs and "tanning bed" sizes of red light therapy, such as that which Solbasium offers - code ALEX saves 5% here if you use this link: https://aferg.co/solbasium ✅ The first and most important choice is what bodily area you want to treat with red light therapy. Hence, size comes first ✅ Criterion 2: Budget. Of course, there's an almost direct relationship between the size of your panel and the money you will spend. Handheld red light therapy devices are not as pricey as mega panels. But, your goals also matter, if you travel, you'll want a smaller device. Also, more is not necessarily better though - not all panels offer equal value for every of your USD spent! Check the summary video of my body panel review series towards the end if you want more info: https://aferg.co/RLT-2021-playlist ✅ Criterion 3: Electro-Magnetic Fields or "EMF". You don't want high electric or magnetic fields when you're using a red light therapy panel. Most but not all panels emit low EMF levels. ✅ Criterion 4: Flicker in the LEDs - which can be stressful to the eyes and body. If a panel has pulsing, you can determine the flicker yourself ✅ Criterion 5: Wavelenghts. You can now get many additional wavelengths in panels, such as 630nm, 810nm, 830nm, and some in the 900s. These wavelengths almost certainly have additional health benefits. What choice you make depends on your personal preference, in part here, although I do recommend venturing beyond just the 660 and 850nm light! ✅ Criterion 6: Power Output. I do independent testing with my spectrometer to know what each panel is putting out (mW/cm2). All recent panels put out a ton of power but some are better than others. ✅ Also, for each of these criterions, I have a separate video in my body panel review playlist, such as power, EMF, wavelengths, etc: https://aferg.co/RLT-2021-playlist ✅ Criterion 7: Warranty & Return Period. You'll want to return your product if it's not what you expected. Huge difference between 1 and 5 years of warranty here. ✅ Criterion 8: Shipping Costs. The shipping cost differences are huge across different companies. Also, due to supply chain issues, not all companies offer direct shipping ✅ Criterion 9: Operations - all panels are not equally easy to navigate and use - easy operations matter ✅ Criterion 10: Modular Support - can you stack panels together? ✅ Criterion 11: Accessories - can you buy stands that make using panels easier? #redlighttherapy #lllt #review #reviews 00:00 Buyer's Guide Introduction 01:29 Criterion 1: Size 04:40 Criterion 2: Budget 06:58 Criterion 3+4: EMF & Flicker 08:14 Criterion 5: Wavelengths 10:44 Criterion 6: Power 15:29 Criterion 7: Warranty 16:10 Criterion 8: Shipping 17:35 Criterion 9: Operations 19:13 Criterion 10: Modular Support 20:55 Criterion 11: Accessories 22:13 Finishing Thoughts
