This is a non-alcoholic recipe and no eggwhites - but you can still enjoy a little bit of "pick me up" ( translation of Tiramisu in English ) in this simple but totally delicious dessert RECIPE: ✅ COFFEE DIP 2 tablespoons instant coffee granules or 1 cup espresso 1 tablespoon sugar 200 ml hot water ✅ MASCARPONE CHEESE MIXTURE 2 large eggyolks 2 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon water 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 250 grams Mascarpone cheese, room temperature ( you may also use cream cheese ) 200 ml heavy whipping cream ✅ Ladyfingers or Savoiardi biscuits ✅ Cocoa powder or chocolate shavings PAN USED: 8 x 8 inches square CHILLING TIME: 6 hours or overnight ◾If you have no mascarpone, you may definitely use cream cheese for this recipe ◾Authentic tiramisu recipes use raw eggs but if you are not into it, you may pasteurise the eggs as i have done in this video ◾It's very important to reach 60'C - 70'C temperature just to be safe from harmful contamination from consuming raw eggs or you may fully omit the eggs if desired.
