Ok so I think this exotic perk can be very strong if you want to free up a aspect slot in exchange for something else as Secant Filaments grants free devour on empowering rift placement which is very good but one weird thing is that it makes you use a void super in which I couldn't get amplified because of the void super which is odd because I thought you can get amped from arc weapon final blows which I guess is not the case. Other odd thing is that the perk on the armor piece can be used on the exotic class item and all you have to do is but the empowering rift down and grants you devour without the use of a void super which is better to use then the exotic itself. I don't know why they make you use a void super when the exotic class item of that perk doesn't make you which makes it better then Secant Filaments itself minus the overload mod you get from using Filaments.
