Want to expand your knowledge of mohair cinch making? In this video we explore the many types and methods of making mohair breast collars. This will introduce you to the idea of matching a breast collar to the cinch. For an average breast collar you’ll need 44’ of 8-ply plus enough 2-ply for whatever design you choose. Hardware includes a 3” O ring, two 2” dees or O rings and one 1” dee. Tugs are also needed to complete the project. See end of the video for a materials list. CORRECTION: The video says you need 10.5' for each side. You actually need 17' for each side piece. I don't know where I came up with that figure! To figure you need 11 x 14" plus 24" at each end. That equals 202" or 16.8'. Round that up to 17'. So....17 + 17 + 10 equals 44'.
