2015 VW e-Golf - Review & Test Drive

How does the VW e-Golf stack up against the Soul EV, Leaf, 500E, i-Miev, and Spark EV? Of the EVs tested, the e-Golf has a decent range and good size battery pack. It’s the second most powerful of the group, and has good torque as well, but is the heaviest vehicle tested. It has the most cargo space, and some of the best charging times, and can fast charge to 80% in about 30 minutes. It also has the lowest drag coefficient. Pricing is on the high end, though all around the e-Golf was my favorite of the group, and it also won the other journalists over as the Northwest Automotive Press Association’s top electric offering this year.
