There's no such thing as a magic brush - sorry to break the bad news. But even if a brush will not transform your watercolour painting, a good one will make painting more pleasurable and will maybe give you a little edge, as you will be more in control and not fighting your materials. Let's look at what makes a good watercolour brush and understand what a round, a mop and a quill are meant to do.
