The airports' no-fly-zones took up more than half of the Singapore Island. And for remaining half of the land area, half of it as no-fly-zones for industrial/military/nature-reserves reasons. So you left with may be about 25% of land area where drones allowed but most of these area are dense residential area not suitable for drone flying. For recreational purpose, checks needed to ensure you are not violating any no-fly-zones or drone laws in Singapore. 1) In general, max altitude of 60m, Register your drone with CAAS if it is more than 250g weight, Pilot has to be at least 16 year old. (it seems like they have removed the old map there) 3) Check and make sure there is no shutdown of some air-space by CAAS during that date you are flying your drone.
