Margit Erb is the founder and director of the Saul Leiter Foundation, which is dedicated to preserving the art and legacy of Saul Leiter. She is a co-producer of the film Saul Leiter: In No Great Hurry (2013). Today she maintains Leiter’s extensive archive located in his former studio in Manhattan’s East Village. She is currently working on several upcoming publications on Leiter’s art and making plans to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Leiter’s birth which will take place in 2023.
