WE’RE IN OUR MALLOMARS ERA!!! Who grew up eating these chocolate covered marshmallow treats? While John makes another marshmallow latte syrup, we went ahead and dug out the history of this iconic snack. Here’s the recipe! Ingredients: · 1 cup sugar · 1 cup water · 8 large marshmallows · 1 tsp vanilla extract · 2 tsp Biscoff Cookie butter (melted) · 1-2 shots of espresso · 1 cup milk · 1 tablespoon cocoa powder · 1-2 heaping scoops of marshmallow fluff · 1-2 graham crackers (for garnish) Toasted Marshmallow Syrup: 1. Boil sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat for 5 minutes until sugar dissolves. 2. Toast skewered marshmallows with a kitchen torch or gas stove burner until browned. Add to syrup and cook 2-3 minutes until dissolved. 3. Strain mixture, cool completely, then add vanilla extract. 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲: 1. Microwave Biscoff cookie butter until pourable. 2. Mix melted cookie butter with toasted marshmallow syrup in a small container. 3. Pour espresso shots over the mixture. 𝗠𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗮: 1. For 1 serving, add 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder in a small saucepan. 2. Measure 1 cup milk. 3. Stir 1 ½ tablespoon milk into cocoa mixture until smooth. 4. Mix in remaining milk. 5. Heat and stir in saucepan until bubbly at the edge or to desired temperature. 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽: Add espresso, cookie butter, and marshmallow syrup mix to the mocha beverage, then top with marshmallow fluff and toast until golden brown.
