Inquire about the pick up service or shuttle bus when reserving. If you are just visiting the place, ask the information (at the shop area) if there are any shuttle bus running. (In the winter time, there is no shuttle bus) Otherwise, take a taxi, rental bike or walk . (3km from the port and there are ups and downs. You have to have a proper shoes and outfit if you are walking.) Access 🚢 1. From Hakata or city center, take subway line to Meinohama station. 2. From Meinohama station, take a share bicycle #ChariChari 🚲 to Meinohama Ferry Port. Or take a taxi. Meinohama station to the Ferry port on foot will be kind of long way. Overseas travelers can also use ChariChari. Just download the app., register your credit card, check how to use it, then you are set to go! For example, my ride from Meinohama port to the Ferry port costed 187 yen. (one way) 3. From the Ferry port, take a ferry to Nokonoshima. Round ticket 460yen. The ferry leaves once an hour.
