From Tunis, I took a flight to Tripoli, Libya — and what I saw when I landed was shocking. At Tripoli Airport, I saw destroyed planes and the aftermath of years of conflict. Entering the country was extremely difficult, but after facing intense immigration checks and speaking directly with the immigration officer, I was finally allowed in.
