Sure, VH1 had them too, but MTV really introduced the world to the concept of the VJ aka the Video Jockey. And for a while, the world was enamored by the concept and everything that it introduced to pop culture. Remember that infectiously catchy song "Video Killed The Radio Star" by The Buggles?
