This is Pico Island… In the course of this episode, we will pass by several places of interest such as the lakes that can be found – highlighting the captain's lagoon. This lagoon has calm waters and is surrounded by a green landscape with the pico mountain as the background. You will be able to take a trail through the protected landscape area for the cultivation of vines, which was classified in 2004 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is in this place that the production of grapes is made, which later give rise to wines and spirits, which are increasingly enjoyed by connoisseurs. It is also on this island that the largest lava tube in the Azores archipelago is found, the Gruta das Torres. Don't forget to book your visit.
