Farcry (2004) Episode 3! This is an episode just over an hour, however it took me 2 days to record. I had some glitches with the 7600GT. I don't think it's the card itself since it ran through a few hours of furmark and multiple 3DMark2005 runs with zero issues. Textures didn't load correctly and I have no idea why. After fiddling with it for a few hours I decided to switch to the ATI Radeon 9600XT. To be honest this card does a great job. I think I might switch back to the 7600GT and see if it was only one of the missions glitching, I'll let you know. 2 missions in this episode. Both took a while to finish. I had to cut a few parts out so you wouldn't watch me die 100 times over and over. That especially goes for the helicopter, where I died ... I have no idea. You will see my first attempt and the successful one after, I edited the failures out. Not because I'm ashamed by them but it's really not fun to watch. In the next episode I'm really hoping to finish the game but I can't promise. It might end up being two more episodes, based on my skill level. I have a large collection of retro PC hardware and games. I've decided to play each of the games for at least 1 hour to see how they are. Capture: VGA output goes into a VGA Splitter. One cable connects to my monitor, and the other goes into the Gefen VGA to DVI Scaler. From there, a DVI to HDMI converter takes the signal into the Elgato GameCapture 4K60 in 1080p. As for sound, it's a bit simpler: a 3.5mm splitter; one side connects to my headphones, and the other goes to my capture PC'sFocusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen.
