Every year around 5000 Norwegian shooters are fighting for the title Skytterkonge/The King of shooting. This is a very big event in Norway. After skiing, shooting is the most traditional sport with roots back to the vikings archery. The famous viking Einar Tambarskjelve was fantastic with his bow. The first King of shooting for rifles got his trophy in 1893 in Kristiansund. In seven days, Norwegian shooters compete in different diciplines. Its special competition-classes for kids and youths, and also for the veterans. The oldest competative man in the history was 93 years old! This event is a sort of a festival.Today, a true Liverpoolsupporter won the title and also His Majesty The Kings Trophy!! Its well known that he and the Triple King of Shooting Tor- Erik Fossli are true Lfc-supporters. Mr Sørli proudly wears his Liverpoolcaps during shooting. All the others shoots with caps designed for shooting. In meny years Mr Sørli have trained very hard.
