This is a more-recent — 2010s? — Korean-made Danelectro Convertible with the piezo pickup that can be blended-in. It was setup with a sitar buzz-bridge (mildly successful) but I’ve refit it with an older ABR-style bridge and set it all up for sale. Yes, it’s actually dang cool. Yes, I do miss the vinyl that should be on the sides. Dano! Danooooo! …and yes, it sounds (acoustically) a lot better out front. My favorite “setting” is with the blender pot halfway — as the piezo on its own sounds “meh” and while the normal “single coil” mag pickup sounds excellent on its own, the special sauce is with both of them blended. It’s more… present!
