War of The Octopus in D Major by Neal Cranston (Music Video)

About a year ago I got the idea to try and create something different from my typical music style. I wanted to sit down and try and write a piece of music just for the piano that told a story. I pictured a deep ocean scene and tried to write a piece that described what I pictured. I used many different chords and techniques I’ve discovered over the years to evoke different emotions like rising and falling and creating movement with the sound. When I finished the piece, I made a music video with some deep ocean life footage that I found and it’s crazy how well the music matches the video. The song is titled War of the Octopus in D Major and the music video as well as studio recording are up on my YouTube channel now. This is a great song to put on as your trying to fall asleep.
