I made this dress with my mom more than 3 years ago. I knew I needed to get it altered right after I finished because the shoulders were just way too big. The waist of the dress hit me all wrong and it really messed with the fit and dart placement. I didn’t want to alter it myself for fear of messing it up. Also the bodice is fully lined and that appeared to be way more complicated to me 😂 little did I know that the very nice seamstress I went to would hold my other dresses and pants as hostages until I fix this one myself!
